The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of Gabon, Jonathan IGNUMBA, and the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Cameroon, Gabriel Mbairobe (check the names of ministers) confirmed their participation in the congress during the ASIAEXPO business mission to Africa, which took place in March 2024.
As part of the trip, the business mission participants met with representatives of major large African retail chains that are interested in importing Russian agricultural products. In addition, meetings were held with the ministers of agriculture of Gabon and Cameroon, at which the heads of ministries noted the importance of international events for the development of cooperation and confirmed their participation in the ASIAEXPO 2024 congress as part of the delegations of their countries.
“The business mission to Africa proved that they want to cooperate with us at the highest level,” noted the general director of the congress, Igor Milovanov.
In July, the second ASIAEXPO business mission to Africa will take place, within the framework of which meetings are planned with representatives of the authorities of Cameroon and Gabon, in particular with the Prime Minister of Gabon, Raymond Ndong Sima, as well as the Prime Minister of Cameroon, Joseph Dion Nguyt.
The International Agricultural Congress ASIAEXPO will be held on October 23-25 at Sirius University (former Park of Science and Art, Krasnodar Territory, Sirius township, Olimpiysky Prospekt, 1). It is expected that delegations from more than 100 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the CIS will take part in it
