From June 2 to 8, a visit was made to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan with representatives of Russian agribusiness. The organizer was the ASIAEXPO congress.
The Russian entrepreneurs spent the first three days of the trip in Saudi Arabia, where they visited the largest producers of agricultural products, learned how the production of milk and fertilizers works, and became acquainted with the peculiarities of doing business in KSA with state participation. Also during the visit, a meeting was held with the Dean of the Research Institute, Dr. Jamal Al-Ghamdi, and with the Director General of the Department of External Relations and Conference Organization of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of the KSA, Majid bin Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Turki, at which they agreed on cooperation between countries and promoting Russian business.
The second part of the business mission, from June 6 to 8, delegates from the Russian Federation spent in Jordan. There they met with the Minister of Agriculture, Al-Huneifat Khaled, the Head of the Agricultural Research Center, Haddad Nizar, the Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Urban Administration, Al-Rawazhda Mohammad, and the Deputy Head of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Ahmad Al-Jitan.
At the meetings, issues of transport and financial logistics between our countries were discussed, as well as the possibility of supplying Russian goods to Jordan.
Over the course of 6 days in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, the Russian delegation got acquainted with the traditions and peculiarities of the Arab world, talked with agricultural business owners and visited the iconic sights of the capitals of both countries.
This visit made it possible to create favorable conditions for further cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Middle East in terms of the agro-industrial complex.
ASIAEXPO has begun large-scale cooperation with Saudi Arabian business.
The ASIAEXPO Congress organizes business missions to study the agro-industrial complex in the countries that are most promising for mutually beneficial cooperation.
In October 2024, the international agricultural congress “ASIAEXPO” will be held, the participants of which will be representatives of more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the CIS. More than 60 companies from Saudi Arabia and more than 40 companies from Jordan plan to take part in the congress. The main goal of the congress is to ensure food security in the world and develop the agricultural sector at the international level.
